Anglesey Schools Geodiversity Competition:
GeoMôn and Oriel Môn are delighted to announce a competition for pupils year 9 and above across Anglesey. GeoMôn will be offering cash prizes of £1000.00 and an opportunity to contribute to an exhibition at Oriel Môn this summer.
GeoMôn is the organisation responsible for the UNESCO Global GeoPark which is Anglesey. The significant status of being a recognised Geo Park in the world puts Anglesey on the map a world heritage site, one of only 177 in the World, which is a huge asset for the Island, Wales and the UK.
All entries will initially be required to be submitted in digital format for shortlisting by email by June 4, 2023 (see GeoMôn UNESCO Global Geopark (geomon.co.uk) for more details).
