I was born and brought up in Cumbria with the Lake District fells on my doorstep. Having completed a degree in Fashion and Textiles I went on to pursue a career in Knitwear design prior to becoming a Primary School teacher in Leicestershire.

I moved to Anglesey fourteen years ago and have been able to indulge my creative aspirations through the art of needle felting. I work in both 2D and 3D using barbed felting needles to push into layers of wool fibre onto a felt background. The pictorial images are inspired by the beautiful land and seascapes around me and of course the characterful faces of sheep.
