Traditionally, a drawing is a piece of art created on paper with pencils or pens. I believe that drawings can also be created from alternative types of media whilst still conveying the essence of line that defines the nature of drawing.

I work with textiles and am inspired by 60’s psychedelia, generative patterns and artists such as Mary Quant, Andy Warhol and Yayoi Kusama. My Welsh heritage is also central to my work and creative process.

My ambition is to pursue a career within the textile industry, and I hope to create work that inspires, and draws attention to my cultural heritage.
