Rachel Stewart is a landscape oil painter from Llysfaen, North Wales. Art education was at Bangor Art College.

Her work demonstrates her love of rural and coastal Wales. Nurtured while growing up in Benllech Angelsey and Colwyn Bay.

Working in her studio from observational drawings and watercolour sketches, she paints with vigour from eye to heart to hand. Laying down oil colour using a variety of techniques.

Returning to exhibit here at Oriel Mon is very meaningful to her. " I hope you will find the beautiful spirit of this wonderful ancient land of Wales in my paintings ".
