Kyffin Williams Drawing Prize 2021

Sir Kyffin Williams was a passionate advocate for the arts in Wales and was an active and enthusiastic supporter of Oriel Môn since its opening in 1991.

During the Summer of 2008 Oriel Môn opened the doors to its new gallery – Oriel Kyffin Williams. From the outset Kyffin Williams was involved in the location and design of the gallery.

Kyffin Williams generously donated over 400 original works of art to Oriel Môn, ranging from sketches to drawings to major oils.

The Sir Kyffin Williams Trust established the Drawing Prize as a tribute to the support that he gave to artists and the value he placed on drawing skills.
