I have always loved the sea and have spent much of my life sailing, most on the Menai Strait. Having completed a fine art degree, done some travelling and Ocean sailing we settled in Beaumaris, Anglesey.

Beaumaris looks out over the Menai Strait, with the backdrop of the ever changing colours of the Eryri mountains. I want to capture the different moods and moments you experience from being on Anglesey, from the swirling seas that surround us to the mountains we look out on.

My paintings are monoprints, a technique I discovered whilst doing my Fine art degree. I paint on glass and print onto calico. I love the element of surprise or happy accident that you achieve as you don’t know how the print will turn out until it dries.
