Join Dr Toby Driver on his lecture where he will look at the incredible archaeological evidence for Iron Age life in north-west Wales, from the well-preserved remains of hillforts and hut groups to evidence for industry, warfare and belief and clashes with the Romans. Dr Toby Driver will showcase some of the latest discoveries from Llyn Cerrig Bach and RAF Valley, as well as discussing new drone surveys of Ynys Môn’s coastal forts by the Royal Commission.

Dr Toby Driver is the Senior Investigator for Aerial Survey at the Royal Commission, Wales, and is the author of several books on Welsh archaeology including the bestselling ‘Hillforts of Iron Age Wales’ (Logaston Press 2023). He has worked with colleagues on excavations and surveys at Dinas Dinlle hillfort, RAF Valley and the coastal promontory forts of Wales.
