From introverted semi-abstract figurative work to almost photo-realistic work, to painterly celebrations of the natural world. His work has slowly transitioned from one period to the next but his overriding passion throughout was to make sense of the world in which he found himself and to enjoy the challenge of painting. Many of the works are being shown for the first time.
